Meet The Team

Mariem Jendoubi Bio: Dr. Mariem Jendoubi, DNP, AGACNP-BC
My journey in healthcare has been guided by a deep commitment to helping others and a belief that every individual deserves compassionate, personalized, and dignified care. I am particularly passionate about caring for older adults, recognizing that aging often brings unique medical, emotional, and personal challenges that require patience, understanding, and a thoughtful approach to healthcare. I believe that every person has a story worth hearing and deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their age, health status, or level of independence.
As a first-generation immigrant, my own journey has taught me the value of resilience, perseverance, and human connection. These values have shaped my approach to patient care and strengthened my appreciation for the importance of supporting individuals through life’s most challenging transitions. I believe this is especially meaningful when caring for older adults who may be managing multiple chronic conditions, experiencing changes in mobility or cognition, or adjusting to life in assisted living or nursing home settings.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Nursing and have dedicated my career to caring for patients with diverse and complex medical needs. My clinical experience has reinforced my belief that healthcare extends far beyond treating disease or managing symptoms. It requires understanding each patient’s medical history, personal circumstances, functional abilities, and individual goals while working to preserve their dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. I also recognize the importance of collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure that older adults receive comprehensive, coordinated care that reflects their needs and preferences.
My approach to healthcare is grounded in evidence-based Western medicine while remaining open to integrative and holistic approaches that may complement traditional treatment when appropriate. I believe in caring for the whole person by considering physical health, emotional well-being, mobility, nutrition, and the many factors that influence health as we age. My goal is to help older adults maintain the highest possible level of function and well-being while ensuring they feel valued, supported, and respected throughout their healthcare journey.

Keisha Lopez Bio: Dr. Keisha Lopez, DNP, PMHNP-BC
My passion for healthcare is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves to feel valued, understood, and cared for, regardless of age or stage of life. I am particularly passionate about supporting older adults as they navigate the physical, emotional, and psychological changes that can accompany aging. I believe that compassionate healthcare begins with recognizing each person’s unique story, respecting their dignity, and ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their care.
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Nursing and am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My approach to care recognizes that mental and emotional well-being are essential components of overall health, particularly for older adults living with complex medical conditions, cognitive changes, anxiety, depression, or other behavioral health concerns. I believe that providing meaningful care requires looking beyond a diagnosis to understand the individual, their life experiences, and the circumstances that influence their quality of life.
My clinical philosophy combines evidence-based psychiatric care with an integrative understanding of mental health. Through advanced training in Functional and Integrative Psychiatry and certifications in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Psychedelic Medicine, I continue to explore therapeutic approaches that may complement traditional treatment when clinically appropriate. I value individualized care that considers each patient’s medical history, emotional needs, personal preferences, and overall well-being.
My goal is to help create a healthcare experience in which older adults feel respected, families feel supported, and every individual receives thoughtful, personalized attention. I believe that quality care extends beyond treating illness; it also means preserving dignity, promoting emotional comfort, and supporting the best possible quality of life. Through compassionate collaboration with patients, families, and care teams, I strive to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of those entrusted to our care.
